Most of our photocopiers are multi-functional, which means that not only do they photocopy but they can also be used as fast economical printers and are able to scan your documents into digital format to a folder, internal hard disk or a USB device.

To get the most from these functions you need to use a PC or Mac for document production, proofing and queueing. Although USB is an option, a network connection is significantly faster and allows multiple devices to attach to the printer.

U2 Events provides a range of networking equipment to enable you to get the most from our printers and photocopiers, ranging from a simple 8 port switch to a routed internet connection with a large multi-room switched network.

Our network consultants and engineers will help you get the right solution for your event, install the routers and switches you need as well as printer drivers and any additional software, test everything is working and finally remove the equipment at the end of your event.

Telephone support, manufacturer trained call out engineers and permanent on-site support technicians will help keep the network and printers working correctly and resolve any technical issues that may occur.

Case Studies

Large Size Conference

Annually, U2 Events provides a copy and print centre complete with network services for a large national conference. This includes an event wide network with managed switches and internet access protected by firewalls together with PCs for a document production area and general office use, as well as a VPN to provide a temporary office in a designated headquarters hotel located outside the main venue.

U2 Events works closely with the client to ensure effective testing of the equipment ahead of the event, timely installation and complete with on-site Network Technical Support for the duration of the conference.

Medium Size Conference

A medium volume multi function photocopier is provided to print personalised brochures and leaflets to order and to offer scanning facilities for various documentation.

In order to complete the installation, U2 Events provides a selection of network routers, either hard wired, wireless or a combination of both, connected to a single internet connection from the venue. The multi function photocopier and a combination of PCs and laptops are attached to the router to create a small network.

Ongoing technical support is provided off-site throughout the event.

Hotel Events

Many hotels charge for each network point they provide as well as for wireless internet access.

To enable cost reduction, we can provide a multi station network with wireless access from a single network connection from the hotel.
